Um, just how sick am I?
I know I believe in all kinds of homeopathic healing options and everyone is sick right now, but this Neti pot thingie sends me into fits of giggles every time I watch it. I'm not sure if it's her calm demeanor while mimicking my favorite favorite plaza fountain that spazes my bladder, or the serious art of toe touches. Either way, I'm certain that if the office folks caught me doing this, they'd fit me for a designer straight jacket.

It is very humorous to watch, although nasal lavage can be very helpful to patients with allergic rhinitis or chronic sinus conditions. I recommend it often to my patients, although I just give them a 10cc syringe rather than having them go out and pay for a Neti pot and a little recipe to make sterile saline.
I realize it more than likely has its benefits. I just couldn't help but wonder what this woman was thinking while she had water pouring out her nose, as in, They don't pay me enough to look like an idiot.
